Mission Statement (Why we're here):  Grant Memorial United Methodist Church exists to worship God, build community, and engage in local and global mission.  We are ecumenically oriented, a "hopeful and helpful people," and especially called to minister to our communities' children and youth.

Vision Statement (Where we're going):  We will grow, not only in numbers but also spiritually; We will worship in new and different ways; We will participate in the community around us; We will expand our children's ministries; We will model stewardship and alleviate poverty; We will promote harmony, trust and love.

Saturday, January 5 - 7:30 a.m. - Men's Club breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.  Jim May will be the guest speaker.  ALL men are invited to attend!

Sunday, January 6 - Epiphany; Communion Sunday; Food Cupboard Sunday

Sunday, January 13 - Prayer Shawl Dedication; Nursing Home Worship service at 2:00 p.m. at the Presque Isle Nursing Home

Monday, January 14 - 7:00 p.m. - Finance Committee

Tuesday, January 15 - Newsletter Deadline; Administrative Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. 

Saturday, January 19 - 4:00-6:00 p.m. - Spaghetti Supper, sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 171.  There is no charge, but donations are welcome!  No ticket necessary.

Sunday, January 20 - Big Coffee Fellowship after the morning worship service
