Join us on Sunday, December 4th for the Second Sunday of Advent.  In the pulpit will be Rev. Dr. Jackie Brannen; her message is titled "The Harvest Arrives After the Pruning."  Come hear some wonderful passages of scripture as well as see the Lighting of the Advent Candle wreath.

Chancel Choir rehearsals have resumed for the year; rehearsals are held each week on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.  They welcome anyone who would like to come and see what the Choir is all about!  Directed by the talented Dan Ladner

Bible Study is held each week on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. The study is being led by Jeanne Daggett.

Darrent West is our interim Director of Christian Education.  Sunday School is available during the worship service.  Children in grades PreK through 8 are welcome; a nursery is available for younger children and older children are invited to remain in the worship service.

The Missions Committee is once again sponsoring our annual Tree of Lights.  Lights are $5.00 each and can be purchased in memory or in honor of someone.  Forms are available in the Narthex or in your upcoming December newsletter (arriving in your mailbox soon!).  Proceeds will benefit local mission projects.

NEW PASTOR
We are pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Tracy Reeves will be the Pastor here at Grant Memorial, beginning January 1st.  Pastor Tracy is currently serving the Old Town & Stillwater UMC's, so please be in prayer for those congregations, Pastor Tracy, and this congregation as we navigate this transition process.  Our sincere appreciation to our DS Jackie Brannen, as well as Bishop Devadhar and the NEUMC cabinet for prayerfully and faithfully supporting us during this season.  We are eagerly awaiting to see how God will bless us, and are excited to welcome Pastor Tracy to the Grant Memorial family!
